No problem. To me whether was or current. If I started dating a gal and she came clean and told me that she was prostitute for some period of time I'd walk.  Again just my personal expectations.  I am big on how people respect themselves. In life people can't take your integrity or dignity, you have to give it away.

I would not if i discovered she was a prostitute, i would if i discovered she was a thief. As you say we all have our boundaries.

Wow that sounds a bit over the top.  Damaged goods! Why has she sold her soul, sexual intercourse is not that precious. You are sounding a little pious and dare i say old fashioned.

A Western woman who has divorced her husband, taken most of his belongings and refused to allow him to see the kids has sold her soul, not a young bargirl making ends meet and providing for her family.

Except of course she spent 20 years raising the family while hubby creates the wealth. It's not really a comparison to a whore who is not shy about a gang Bang for money . I know which ones has sold her soul.

Regarding kids it's rare for most women to deny their kid's a dad but of course there are some witches that do

You are absolutely right. Money is a huge driver in all relationships whether here or anywhere in the world. In fact I suspect its one of the biggest reasons why people divorce.

Money allows one to advance and have things and sets them in the pecking order. Human nature. While I know my now wife and I met and had physical and intellectual chemistry and attraction the fact is we may not have dated long if I was working at KFC...LOL! HOWEVER, there are ways to earn money that are respectful careers that one can be proud of. This is why I said "Damaged goods". No one wants to bring home the girl that was a prostitute. Would you rather introduce your date or wife at a gathering and say, "This is XXX and she works at XXX as a XXXX or would you prefer, hey everyone this is XXX, she worked as a whore in the gogo bar in Pattaya? You tell me?

Paper money doesnt have to change hands to be prostitution. What about a woman who has sex with a man for free, only to secure him as a partner who can take care of her, even though she has no feelings for him. Thats more of a lie, and ongoing. If a prostitute is still there after you stop paying, maybe shes not a prostitute anymore.

This seems to happen quite a bit here. Met loads load of middle class women that chose Thai guys for security and cheat on em every opportunity they get. Kinda makes me wonder if perceived class level is a factor in this discussion. Like, it's okay if an educated woman carries on like a hooker provided it's one man versus a lower class girl who will do it with anyone. "She's married, but doesn't love the guy and fools around when she can," sounds a lot better than "She's a hooker. Wanna give her a try?"

My wife is a highly educated lady, and has been with me for eleven years, if I found out she was a hooker before she met me, it would not matter, after the way I behaved when I was younger, I would be a hypocrite if it did.

That's called playing the long game. Nothing wrong with that. However it is like saying anybody who is retired is no longer that. A banker, a pilot, a politician are no longer that after they retire. Many people would quit there job once they no longer need to do it to earn a living. On the other hand not many of them would continue to give their customers blow jobs so you may be onto something.

Hey, man, we're talking about a country where 90% of the women will tell you they're single. I'd say that means you can't trust any of em 100% of the time.

Yes, that's always gonna be the case with wealthy women. But I think it's a lot easier to date outside your station- either up or down- back home. One thing I really miss about the west is I don't have to be with an educated woman to have a decent conversation.

I stupid question requires a stupid answer!
To make it easy for you, just think that what she did before you are paying for today. That was the stupid version. The smart I leave to you to realize yourself. Can we all go to bed now and wake up with a smarter style tomorrow?

Introducing as a prostitute would be much more fun and interesting and it would soon sort out the other guests as snobs, prudes or just shallow minded. The downside though is that there would be many that just avoided her and looked down on her.

Plus, there's already gonna be a stigma when a white westerner brings home a SE Asian or South American girl. If what other people think about your girl is a concern for anyone, then they might as well go back home and say whatever happens here stays here.

So why take on that burden when there are millions of other women out there?

Edited 8 hours ago by JAFO

I understand from previous posts you are working here and have more opportunities.

However a lot of expats are retired here and also living in towns and villages outside of the capital. Can you suggest where they are likely to search for and find these millions of other women? What are their options?

Finding them is not the problem. It's connecting with them. You're a average Thai girl is oppressed to the point of being inhuman and fake. The maturity level is a concern as well. And many of em don't like to discuss anything negative. To me this amounts to seeing half the world. I'm probably a bit jaded, but when I see a Thai girl that looks confident and totally comfortable in her own skin, I assume she is a hooker on some level.

Sad, and the other guests would know you are a total loser. Do you also defend prostitutes from your own country ?

I have female friends back home that have stripped, escorted, and probably accepted money in exchange for sexual services. I will defend them to anyone who has a problem with them, but I definitely wouldn't announce their past to a room full of guests.

Could care less if a women works as a prostitute in any country as long as she is honest with her customers. Men who sleep with hookers, but look down on them are hypocrites.

What does 'Could care less' mean?

Does it mean you care a lot, but you could care not as much?

Or do you mean you ' couldn't care less'?

Thank you for pointing out that over the years that particular idiom has changed. This is just how it is said in the USA. Does every outdated expression where you come from make sense?

No I am not that self deluded she was working selling jewelry at a little stand on soi 6 in Pattaya. Not sure where she got the gold from but every morning after a night on beach road she had new gold necklaces. She also had a mobile phone shop on the side.

She is not a ladyboy!

Wow... why are you insulting my country now... with its 'outdated' expressions?

I did not understand what you meant... I read it several times... it does not make sense.

I did not know you are from America....  that explains it, its not your fault.

I will stick to my 'outdated' expressions, language and spelling thanks.
