Hi. My girlfriend lives with her mother and younger brother. The brother is a rather troublesome person. Drinking everyday and does not help around the house. My girlfriend is scared of him. He has layed hands on both her and the mother and making life a living hell for them. She has contacted the police. But they say they won't do anything because it's their problem (family problem). I met my girlfriend abroad where we both I was living for the past two years. We've been together for one year pluss. But now she is back in Thailand living with her mother and younger brother. I live in a another country but I'm going to Thailand to met her next month for three weeks. I'm worried about what her brother might be up to. Anyhow. Only thing I can think of is to contact her father. But she says they don't talk anymore because he left her mother for a younger one and haven't been in contact for years. Hope for some good advice. They live in Yasothon if that help. Best regards

Fairly usual in the villages here.

Gf has a ditto brother: lazy, drinks, is on drugs, breaks the household from time to time.

We raise his 6 year young daughter (he is not able to even feed her), mother and bad boy live 1km from our house. I happen to pass by from time to time, I just ignore the piece of shit.

 

When you come over just stay away from the mother's house

Ok. Sorry to hear about that. Susu. We've been talking about staying in the house or nearby. Was hoping to get to know the family. But I'll guess I will opt for nearby and don't make any trouble. Thanks for the advice. Makes my head a little clearer

Very strange relationship if she leaves you and prefers to live with her mother and getting beaten up by her brother. Send more money.
