Famous folk singer, Chatchai Mongkolthong died at 52 on stage

PHATTHALUNG: -- Chatchai Mongkolthong, the legendary folk singer of the south, passed away at 52 last night after he collapsed on stage at his concert in Phatthalung province.

 

The famous artist, whose real name as Sanguansak Nurod, was performing for over 3,000 people at Baan Huai Ruea when he tragically died.

 

It was reported that Chatchai’s heart stopped before he reached Pabon Hospital. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Cliff Richard was his dad!

RIP young fellow you went with your boots on and guitar in hand. Great way to go but sad to see it happen at such a young age. Life can be unsparing at times.
