March 15, 20179 yr When a Thai is applying for a UK Standard Visitor Visa is it necessary to supply original documents (apart from the applicant's passport) or will signed copies be sufficient in all cases? Thanks
March 15, 20179 yr The UKVI do stipulate that original documents should be supplied, there are reports of copies being supplied and end entry clearance being approved.Nobody can categorically say that it's okay, it's for you to decide whether you want to take a chance.I personally always supply originals with a copy, I suppose it could boil down to how strong the application is, if the ECO is looking for an excuse to refuse the application, that could be it.Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect theoldgit

March 17, 20179 yr What original documents are you talking about. All my sponsor evidence is originals and no copies needed. Wife takes originals and copies of tabien baa, house and land ownership, ID card and passport, bankbooks etc. vfS give originals back straightaway.
