Flush Hosts ?

Featured Replies

Trying to connect to http://www.addic7ed.com/ to day I get this error message:-

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Host '94.23.9.195' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /home/admin/domains/addic7ed.com/public_html/includes/fn_bbdd.php on line 34
Database connection error

Goggling throws up lots of complicated answers non of which make much sense to me :shock1:

There must be a simple way to "Flush Hosts"

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

You don't do this.

This is a server-side error. The website Admin has to do this.

In this example, the website's .php application is encountering an error condition, spitting out the error result, and the web server picks this up and includes it in the html render stream.

If it isn't corrected soon, then try emailing the sites admin (or contact email) and include the error message.

Thanks for your response,

Tried again just now and site is working fine.

I don't normally worry about not getting connected any site as things usually sort themselves out in a while, it's just this error seemed to indicate that I should do something.

But as you say a problem at their end and sorted now.

Thanks
