In the spirit of another thread discussing the racial meaning of the word 'yellow', I think I should point out that the word 'oriental' is a racial slur on the Asians... so i'm told

On the left-hand side of the Thappraya Road travelling from Pattaya to Jomtien, after the garden centre, you will see a 'washing line' of rugs hanging up for about one hundred yards.

I am sure that one or two might catch your eye as 'oriental' in design.
