Thaivisa login apparently is not secure

Featured Replies

My latest Firefox firewall is marking the Thaivisa login as: "This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised". Reason is there is no https for the login procedure so it can be easily hacked.

Could anyone (especially ThaiVisa) please comment and give assurances?

what a THAI reply  this is   dont forget the committee

ThaiVisa has never had a 'secure' login. The only thing that has changed is, from v 52, firefox is reporting that HTTPS is not being used.

What needs to be reviewed, just change it.

Please feel free to post my account password here once you've 'easily hacked' it. Unless you're the ISP or some kind of a nation state security agency with access to the raw data via a split fibre you're not going to be able to do it.

The web has worked this way since it's inception. SSL is in myopinion overkill for anything that's public - like a forum containing no secret information. However the browser makers disagree and are going to issue more and more severe warnings in the future until everyone is scared and complies with their demands.

Changing the password box from type 'password' at the html form level to a regular text entry box gets rid of the warning.
