Fishing Chang Mai

Featured Replies

HI , i have been invited up to Chang Mai for a week,is there anywhere , that i might be able to throw a float in the water, thanks KC

Hi there, I've just got back from Chiang Mai Fishing Park. I had 3 pleasant days fishing there. There are 5/6 lakes which offer different species and therefore different fishing methods. They have a legend on the wall of the building that shows you what is where etc. You can get more information here,  https://www.google.co.th/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1CHBD_enTH726TH726&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=chiang+mai+fishing+park&*   however, this site is well out of date and I don't know if it is still maintained.

They have rods etc. for hire but if you have your own gear, then it is only 50TB per day. Bait is also sold there and they have no objections if you want to take your own bait.

Tight Lines.

You catch many. I spent a day in one without even a nibble. German owner, I'm wondering if he actually even had any fish

I'm guessing you fished here:  http://dreamlake-fishing.com/2013/06/03/homepage/  I have not fished there but I am told it is very difficult to catch fish there. At any of the other venues in Chiang Mai you will probably catch fish.day

Yes I think that was it as I recognize the bungalows. I think the German guy felt sorry for us and gave us a free lift to the airport next day
