Pedophilia is a disturbing yet common crime here in Pattaya and one Police Division who work hard to suppress this form of crime is the Tourist Police.

On Tuesday Evening, Police Lieutenant Colonel Wootishart, the Chief of Pattaya’s Tourist Police Division ordered his undercover unit to serve an arrest warrant on Mr. Gunnar Bjarne Ugulen aged 67 from Norway. He was wanted in connection with a case from April of this year where he is alleged to have paid 500 Baht in exchange for sexual services from a boy under the age of 15.

The man was caught in front of the Biemsook Village in South Pattaya after eluding Police Capture for nearly 8 months. He will now be kept on remand pending a court appearance.
