A fire broke out at Rong Klua Border Market in the Aranyaprathet district of Sa Kaew province, destroying some 20 shops and a large amount of goods, early on Sunday.

 

Police officers are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which broke out at around 3am near Fa Prathan Co in the Dech Thai market zone for second-hand goods. 

 

Fire-fighters managed to put out the flames at around 5am and found the market zone’s 31st-50th shops severely damaged.
