Reasonably priced copy place?

Featured Replies

The local copy place charges 30 baht per standard sheet black and white copy, not a good price for a 50-100 page guide I'd like to print out. Anyone know a more reasonable shop? I'm near Tuk com.

My local Kodak place charges 3 Baht per copy. Mine is not local to you but they are all over the city.

30 baht is ridiculous. Even my hotel charges only 10 baht.

Unheard of.

Can not help with exact Pattaya addresses, but:

cheap places are always around the colleges/big schools and the government office compounds.

Cheap price is 0.5 Baht per sheet. Some will even undercut for larger quantities.

Be aware that you will see a "50" for the price.

50 Satang, 0.5 Baht.

3 baht is the norm @ local Thai shops even if you can't speak a satang of Thai.

check around a University ,  they do a good business copying textbooks so they must be pretty cheap

Does Pattaya have a University ?

At least two in Jomtien that only charge 2 Baht/page of A4. The first is the Kodak shop on Thappraya near the beach a few doors up from the TT exchange booth by the Dongtan police box. The second is the photo shop on the corner of Jomtien Beach Road and Soi 6. No double pricing for foreigners in either place.

Long way north on Sukhumvit, near Soi 15.

Sure not worth the trip for a handful of sheets but if you have a big volume you should consider.

Copies for 25 Satang,

Many other services offered doing booklets, binding (or how it is called in English?).

.50 Satang on 3rd road, just past the intersection with Soi Xyte, coming out of Soi Xyte, turn left, about 25 meters down on your left. Reasonable on color copies and laminating as well as the inexpensive reasonable copy charge(no min.). Cheers mate, might be closed the 19th but I assume open tomorrow, the 18. There is also a .50 Satang place on Theprasit, south side, just below the condos there near Sukhumvit. I've not been to this second one in several years but can guaranty the first one mentioned.

A good central location!

Here where the "50" sign is:

As an occasional visitor I never notice such places. Too much distraction

Better the Thep Presit location, by the tec school, as that area of 3rd road and Xyite is a bit of a low income ghetto.  If you must go do it during daylight hours. Oh, &  Happy Retirement Jerry!

I went to this place. they wanted 5 baht/page. I gave a <deleted> look and she said "because your document on phone, not copy" Then she went down to 2 baht. Then cut down to 1.5 as I was standing there thinking what to do. They spoke in Thai and I heard her saying 150 pages so I thought maybe that was their low end for printing files off a drive, so I took it. But then when I paid they IMMEDIATELY started laughing in a chatty way.

Times like this I wish I knew Thai. I have more to print later and not sure if I should go back, 1.5 baht isn't the worst price but still higher than I expected going in.

While I feel your pain, printing from a phone or flash drive or email is going to be more. I assume you wanted it printed, not copied? It's just part of doing business I suppose. Glad you got it down to a somewhat reasonable level. The ladyboy humor in that place should not be confused with laughing at a stupid farang. God Bless You mate. OO.

Of course I also assumed that it is about copying and that is still the god old job of putting a (staple of) sheets into one bin and getting one or multiple sheets/staples copied.

Quite different from printing from an electronic media/phone/PDF.

If I want something printed I put it as single PDF file on a freshly formatted USB stick which is easy readable for almost all shops/equipment.

(PDF formatted for A4 paper size not Letter or the like)

I use a copy shop on 3rd road opposite what was Chez Georges restarant near soi 22.........1 baht/copy

Is there a photocopy and printing place near Soi Buakhao and Soi Diana?  in Central Festival?  Only have a few pages so price is not as relevant as convenience.
