Over 6.3 million people have paid respects to Royal Urn of late King

BANGKOK: -- The Bureau of Royal Household on Friday reported that 6,303,587 people had paid their respects before the Royal Urn of late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Grand Palace’s Dusit Maha Prasart Throne Hall in the past 169 days.

During the same period, the public also donated more than Bt511.7 million towards merit-making for the late King.

On Thursday alone, 25,470 mourners paid their respects to the late King and donated a total of Bt1.6 million.
