PHUKET: -- Patong Police yesterday arrested a Pattani man for rape, faking being an officer of the law, robbery and house encroachment.

“Russanee Bahe, 32, has confessed to seven counts of rape,” Lt Col Somsak Thongkliang of Patong Police told the Phuket Gazette.

Col Somsak led a team of officers to arrest him at the ‘Best Store’ hotel in the China Town area at about 8pm. Police also found drug paraphernalia in his hotel room.

“On Wednesday, a 33-year-old masseuse, who requested that her name be withheld, filed a complaint against Mr Russanee. She said that while she was walking past Patong Hospital, a man came to her and solicited her services for 4,000 baht. She said she did not doubt his intentions as she believed him to be a police officer,” said Col Somsak.

It'll never happen. The real police get 50% of the take without having to leave their shady spots, go out in the sun and pull over a tourist.

The shelters on the side of the road will be vacant! Oh no............who will police the traffic offences? :whistling:

Oh, woe is me.  I can feel a road accident coming on.
