I find Thai Visa an awesome resource. However, I get really annoyed at being automatically opted in to follow topics.

 

How can I turn this off for all.

I'm annoyed with this problem. The thing is you can go to notification settings and block the notifications but, the downside you will not be notified of anything at all !!!

except the messages !!!

I did that on pattaya addicts and changed back !!!

OK I found it.

 

Next to your avatar and username at the top right hand corner of every page is a small drop down arrow.

 

Click on that and one of the options is Account Settings.

 

Click on that and you will see your Display Name, Email Address etc. To the right of that are more settings, one of which is Notification Settings.

 

Click on that and you should be directed here where you can toggle on/off followed content.

There is also another toggle at the bottom of every dialogue box when you're posting like this:
