An Irrawaddy dolphin was found dead in the sea off Samran-Palien beach in Trang province on Monday.

 

Mr Sakda Tui-an, kamnan of Tambon Tasae, Haad Samrin district, said that the dead Irrawaddy dolphin, a female, weighed about 60 kilogrammes and was believed to have died three days ago after it was trapped in a fishing net as there were wounds all over the body.
