Used Electric Guitars

Featured Replies

Hi all..

Anybody knows any second hand guitar shops in BKK?

It would help if it was a cluster of shops in the same area.

Yellow mama, music center city won't do.

Thanks

The place right at the back of Panthip on the left sometimes has the odd secondhand guitar. The place I've found with the biggest choice of secondhand stuff is in the basement of Fortune Town. There are also a couple of secondhand shops at the top of FT that sometimes have the odd secondhand guitar.

Fortune town is the best place. Good deals.

On the third floor of seacon square there is a shop that deals used fenders, effects, the odd headless guitar, etc but nothing too impressive.

In central rama 3 they have one i think on the sixth floor, nothing too much.

Pantip has a lot of cool shiznat in the back and on the second floor.

They have steinbergers on the second floor of the theater in siam square.

Theres also a shop across from the asia hotel at the Ratchatavee BTS station.

If you go walk around chinatown youll find quite a few music shops that sell new and used guitars, band instruments, synth, etc.

Fortune towns shop is good though. My friend got a 1980 Japan squier fat strat with a Floyd Rose II tremolo for 12000, the next year he took it to Korea and sold it for about $500.

Given that I was in the market to buy my kid a starter guitar, I found the info on this thread very useful (thanks).

We ended up going to the 3rd floor of Seacon. There are three guitar stores on the third floor, one near Tesco that has been in business for 30 years (12 at that location), and on the other side of Seacon, two stalls that sell guitars. I really know nothing about guitars (we went with someone who did), and ended up buying a guitar and amp from one of the stalls.

Thanks again for the info.
