Sports/school Hall To Rent For Self Defence Classes?

Hi

I was wonder could anyone give me any info on how/where I could rent somewhere cheap to teach self defence classes in Pattaya on a saturday?

This is not for muay thai fighting, but for normal ladies and men, frang and Thai who want to learn some basic self defence skills based on Krav Maga, which is the fighting/self defence system of the Israeli Army.

I used to teach this at home in ireland, and would rent a church hall to do it. this was my web site back then http://www.selfdefence.ie

So I was wondering in Pattaya, what or where could I go to rent someone where cheap for a few hours on a saturday morning to teach this?

church hall, school sports hall , gym etc etc..????

Any ideas would be great?

Thanks

On Sukhumvit - Eastern side - between Pattaya Klang and Pattaya Tai - there was a large martial arts advert over two or three shop-house. As I've been working overseas for the past couple of years I cannot be sure it is still there.

Talk to them about adding a new line to the overall curriculum - on a partnership rather than being employed as a kensai.

It may prove beneficial to both you and the school.

Hi

Thanks,

Maybe you mean the International School of Martial Arts, which is not far from where you say, and I live not too far from there too.

Any one else on places/halls re more options?

Thanks

Tonys Gym on third road has a room which they use at set times for things like aerobics, spinning etc.

Maybe you could approach the gym as they have different classes on offer and might be pleased to add it to there weekly list of activities on offer.

I have seen Step-rebook classes early evening on the square (circle) outside of the Big C on suckumviet road. Not what you would normally hold classes but maybe a consideration.

On our housing estate there is a communal pool area, quiet often the whole area is empty, I would imagine this would be the same on many estates, maybe something like this would work

This is Thailand and you may have to think out side of the box so to speak….

I would be very interested to join such a class so wish you look finding a suitable venue

Great Thanks...Yes know Tonys Gym, I check that out....my buddy is a member there.

I know that aerobics place there too near Big C... there is a yoga school near there, and i go to an occassional yoga class there.... was thinking maybe they might rent me some time in their studio when yoga classes is not on.

I got a communial area by the pool too, but Id be afraid of someone slipping on a wet patch or something!
