EV Charging Stations (CS)
What’s other BYD owners take on this? Are you following the above “recommendation”? I’m usually charging from 20% or less every couple days but not always to 100%. Is the battery affected detrimentally if we don’t follow the above strictly? -

SLOVAKIA - Bans ‘Dangerous’ Covid ‘Vaccines and declares Pandemic a ‘Fabricated Operation'
Prime Minister Robert Fico backed plans to investigate Slovakia’s pandemic management. A prominent anti-vaxxer was given the key role. Slovakia's Health Minister Zuzana Dolinková announced Friday she is stepping down over government backing for a prominent anti-vaxxer and insufficient prioritization of health care. "I am sorry that at the level of the government coalition there is support for the ideas of the government proxy, which, in my opinion, find no scientific support," Dolinková said at a press conference, adding she will officially submit her resignation in the coming days. Peter Kotlár, the government envoy tasked with investigating Slovakia's pandemic management and one of the country's most prominent anti-vaxxers, presented his report — which is largely based on fringe theories — on Thursday. https://www.politico.eu/article/slovakia-health-minister-zuzana-dolinkova-quits-government-support-anti-vaccine-covid/ -

Expats in Thailand urged not to worry about negative income tax
Plain dumb comment. My exposure to IT in Thailand is about 800K to 900k a year. If negative income tax requires a 10% hike in revenue collection I might have to pay an extra 90k, a paltry amount indeed.. And I am probably on a relative modest income compared to others. Nobody ever said that NIT would affect only expats. But Dumb and Dumber was a fun movie to watch. -

A vote for Trump is a vote for Putin / Orban / Kim Jong Un
I'm the only one posting links while you're just parroting MAGA talking points. Putin loves you. -

It was a scam
There are a lot of these scam calls. My wife gets 1 per day on average. Unless she recognizes the number she never picks up. This is Thailand. Do you feel secure when you hand out your passport, bank account, house number, wife id card, kor ror to immigration on the back of a copy paper? -

Police Seize 220M Baht in Luxury Cars, Gold, and More from 'The Icon' Group
> with suspects allegedly converting cash into digital currency to avoid detection. I know, i keep repeating myself... Bitcoin today is the only safe heaven for criminals to hide their illegal money. and it will be for a long while... count on that. I am so sure, the icon group criminals already have hundreds of BTC in their secret wallets that the police will never find, ever. Just waiting for when they come out of jail a year later or a few months later, as likely they will not spend more than 12 months in jail. the lower ranks in the gang might spend longer in jail, but when they come out 5 years later, their bitcoins assets will already have double or tripled in value, if they have 10BTC today value at 22M THB ,then 10 years later that will easily be 200M. If they were smart from beginning, they already have most of their money in BTC in hardware crypto wallets (like the Ledger Nano) And who in here believe they only have 200M Baht? if they could afford 35M Baht cars, and just one, they surely have at least a few Billion Baht hidden abroad and in Crypto., easily 5B Baht.... -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
I think DeSantis would be much better than Trump as well, but I do not have that choice. And in all honesty, I'm pretty sure DeSantis would have been crushed. Again, if you want open borders, higher taxes, more DEI, less accountability and more redistribution, vote for Harris. If you don't, vote for Trump. And it is worth noting, that Trump did not become the devil incarnate until after he won the election. Before that, he was a well-liked guy, and he was more popular with the left than the right. -

Judge: Trump Could Be Partially Responsible for Jan. 6 Riot Despite Lack of Direct Order

Public minivans
Maybe this is a stupid question, but are there any regulations regarding minivan drivers providing their passenger service? It's not the end of the world, but my young grandson has just arrived home after a minivan driver dropped him off, in the dark at a different location than the one he agreed to. As I've said, it's not the end of the world, but it's not very enjoyable trudging for nearly two hours in a storm. But at least the rain is warm. -

Anyone done a Retirement Visa (O or OA) Online recently?
Did a non O retirement in Aus in March. Very easy and visa sent by email in 3 days. All I needed was to upload scans of: - Passport ID page - passport photo - Aus bank statement - proof of address in home country (I used drivers licence)
