Mp3 Cutter

Featured Replies

I have been using Lossless Mp3 Cutter for years now.

I'm not that impressed with it even though I have the paid version.

So I just got a new computer and have problems getting it up and running

and have problems contacting their customer support.

So I thought that maybe there is a better program for splitting Mp3's.

I don't want to do anything except split audio books,no mixing no editing.

Can anyone recommend one.

I'm not certain that I understand exactly what you want to do, but if you're only wanting to chop up one long audio file to become several shorter audio files then I would suggest the following (in my view the last one, Audacity, is the best one):-

I think that Real Player will allow you to cut and save pieces of both video and audio files.

I'm fairly sure that you can do the same with Any Video Convertor.

"Audacity" is an audio file editor.  It's easy to use and you can do pretty much anything with it.

All of the above are free.

I hope that I've been of some help.

All the best

I want to split an audio book into one minute sections.

Then I delete the sections that I don't want to hear again.

I see that Audacity lets you split mp3's into songs but can it do

one minute sections.

MP3Split is the one you need.  Does exactly what you want.

See Katana post above for download. I personally use the PortableApps version, but up to you.
