State Railways of Thailand (SRT) has made the bidding documents for the Bt7.3-billion Hua Hin-Prachuap Khiri Khan double-track rail project available, acting governor Anont Luangboriboon said on Tuesday.

 

He expects the project to attract more than 10 prospective bidders, with the contract winner likely to be announced by late July.

 

The state agency also held a public hearing on Tuesday on the terms of reference for the Bt15.85-billion double-track rail project from Nakhon Pathom to Hua Hin, he added.

 

In addition, the SRT is studying the median price for the planned double-track Prachuap Khiri Khan-Chumphon line, Anont said.
