Can someone please tell me how many days to get an O-A in NYC? 

D.C website says 5 days but I'm not sure about NYC.

 

 

 

 

It depends. My recent experience was 14 days...but that was over the Songkran Holiday so perhaps they slowed down a bit even in NY.

14 days by mail sounds normal. I want to drop off my application and pickup hopefully next day.

Usually, 24 hours.

 

I've just got one. Apply in the morning -- 9am to 12.30. Pick up the following day in the afternoon -- 1.30pm to 4.30.

For the last 6 years turn around has been two days, after it get's there, but there seems to have been a change in the staff responsible for processing lately so I would not guarantee that today

 

Do a search here at TV and there have been several reports of the New York Consulate making mistakes and delays in processing

 

But that is contradicted by aBigSmile above so who knows what the current turn around time is
