Personal alarms for women. Where?

I'm gonna have to leave my girlfriend alone in Bangkok for a few months, because of a pesky work situation in my home country. But before that, where can I buy a reliable and loud as hell personal alarm? I want something that could wake the dead.

Now before you all question this, my gf will live alone for the first time in her entire life. She also has no situational awareness, and is kinda naive. I feel worried about leaving her all alone, but at least I could get some comfort knowing that she has a proper alarm.
