Bkk Travel Agent To Avoid And One To Use

Featured Replies

I was just trying to get a ticket out ot Thailand and I am very travel experienced for flights.

I was told about www.olavi.com I talked to Wan for a price in a V booking class (so I could upgrade seat) and she had my dates. She gave one customer (friend of mine) one price and me a more expensive price.

When I asked her why the difference in price for same ticket, she started the usual same same but differnt all the usual lies (I've been here too long know better) but I decided it really didnt matter all I needed was the routing rules of the flight so I could see if there was a chance to earn extra miles.

She didnt understand this ( tells me she doesnt know anything but pricing) and said she didnt want to sell ticket. I said please I need fare rules so I can see if....she hung up.

I sent her an email telling her she was not very nice and should be a shamed of herself for been so rude.

She then calls up my friend and tells him that I was yelling at her and not been nice to her. Can't believe this woman. Never even had a straight answer from her only lies.

Lesson, she gave me a differnt price than an old customer...does favors its seems...not to be trusted

Not honest dual pricing

Doesnt know business or anything about fare routings

When confronted about pricing starts usual Thai BS.

I went directly over to www.thaifly.com and talked to Nadia who was very pleasant and knew what was going on.

Here's the differnce: judge for yourself who to use:

When asked for fare routings she knew exactly what was going on and sent them to me.

She was polite and gave me time to understand

Very professional and didnt push for the ticket sale like Olavi

Interested in customer service...long time not just a ticket today make the money and forget you like Olavi

Pricing was cheaper even than the price the other agent WAN gave my friend. So really good pricing

In the end I saved money, time and got a travel agent that I can trust and use for the future. I fly over 100,000 miles a year and this company will be getting all my business from now on. Too bad olavi was so short sighted and mean.

Judge for yourself fellow travelers but here is one travel agent to use and one to forget.

ONe other thing Thaifly is getting a very good name with expats for good pricing so do yourself a favor and check them out.

But Nautilus said in a recent posting:

I recently booked a flight from USA to thai. I had 2 layovers , one in narita and one in taiwan. Thaifly never tell me that I would have a layover in narita. There service really sucks! attempted to taklk to a rep about it many times and they really dont care. They said they would email me, never did. They say they will cal me back but never do. The online help is poor as well. They are very stupid people working there and they have no clue about itineary or anything regarding airline travel. Never use thaifly.com so you dont get screwed to!
