Sessegnon has signed 3 year pro contract at Fulham. Surprises me as I thought he was nailed on to Spurs for next to nothing! Will cost a substantial fee when he moves now!

Wayne Rooney might have a few more medals but he is no Stevie G, and you know it.

How many times has a legend of the game or a great player of the game mentioned Stevie's name when taking about the best or players they would liked to have played with or in their team. Never heard one say Wayne Rooney, maybe Harry Redknapp

Nowhere have I compared the playing merits of Rooney and Gerrard,I replied to a scouse pish take of Rooney merely pointing out the amount of honours he,s won and comparing them with Gerrard (one of the best midfielders of his generation without doubt) when numpties want to make ridiculous comments they should do so from a position of superiority not inferiority,otherwise its smacks of jealousy    :sad:

Goodbye Wayne Rooney and thanks for the many happy memories :thumbsup:

not overly happy with this. think he'll score plenty there.

Everton ar now saying they've not received any bid. I'd imagine Chelsea are going to throw a bid in themselves.

Could be an interesting evening on twitter

*Edit: no agreement, they've not got an agreement

Conte wants Morata not Lukaku so he'll be more than happy. It's Chelsea's "Directors" that prefer Lukaku.

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: bulls**t

my personal dream  choice would be Morata,then the Big Sack any day, and   Sanchez The  Silencer playing alongside Morata

do hope my dream becomes true

a nice high noon to all

M/U  has got the  Big  Sack, final  figure could reach 90 to 95 mil , lot of moolah for a player of undoubted potential,but not proven in the big games,

that will no doubt will come.  with his   t/f   to M/U  , where the big  games are on,  from day one , see how  he handles the pressure that comes with it, my answer  is  NO

a lovely afternoon to all

Or maybe not!:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Antonio Conte wants Alvaro Morata

Arguably the most intriguing angle about this deal for Morata is the inner workings of the Chelsea hierarchy.

Chelsea were favourites to sign Morata until April. The Spanish striker knows he is not a regular starter at Real Madrid and wants regular playing time ahead of the World Cup.

Antonio Conte has always been a big fan of Morata and brought him to Juventus before leaving for the Italy job.

Chelsea sporting director Michael Emanelo was keen on Romelu Lukaku.

Absolutely not,some managers in clubs do a great job keeping them going as they have little money to spend so its a case of "ok we will go with what we have" and they produce decent sides without actually ever winning anything,sometimes these guys are given a chance at a club that has big money to spend and they fail miserably,some managers cannot handle big money players,some managers are afraid to spend big money on players for fear that player will fail and make them look ridiculous.

Having money to spend can be a bigger problem for some managers than having nothing.

Frauds no, both maureen and pep are good managers,they are both millionaires and don,t need to work but they do because they enjoy it....maureen was sacked by Chelsea for whatever reason,he could quite easily walked away and retired but he took all the flack and came back inviting even more flack week in and week out,why? because he wants to prove he,s a good manager...that takes balls in my book.............have a nice day now :thumbsup:
