my friends thai girlfriend questioned why we were getting the roof fixed as it was dry season. same rational.

That's why it's dangerous to eat from street vendors in Bangkok. They probably do what they do in China.... They get the unwanted oil from the drains or back of restaurants and then use it to fry the shit that you eat! If you eat from the streets you will always need the toilet immediately.

We also throw all oil in the drains, i've asked many times where we can bring it but nobody knows. Same goes for batteries which go in the bin.
