Property tycoon Anant is to be summoned to see DSI officials

 

The Department of Special Investigation is to summon property tycoon Anant Asavapokin to acknowledge charges of collusion in laundering money stolen from Klong Chan Credit Union Cooperatives.

 

DSI deputy director-general Pol Lt-Col Korawat Panprapakorn said investigation showed that the money stolen from Klong Chan Credit Union Cooperatives was used to buy land in Klong Luang district of Pathum Thani and then donated to Wat Dhammakaya.

 

He admitted that it was known whether Mr Anant would show up as requested by the DSI or not because he had not contacted the DSI. He, however, said the property tycoon had the right to postpone the appointment once.
