KRABI: -- A video shows officials from the national marine park helping two European tourists stranded on a rocky shore.

The tourists were unable to get back to their long tail boat that could not get near the shore in heavy seas in the Losama bay area.

Netting was used to get the tourists to the sea then amid a serious swell the tourists held onto a safety line to get them back to their boat. They needed to return to Phi Phi island.

The rescue on Tuesday evening took 30 minutes but was successful, reported Sanook.
