The squad transferred the weapons, which were found at a property owned by Hataithip Duangjan in Muang district, pending their destruction. wakeupplease
Some people are very brave or absolutely stupid standing so close, in the real world the B Squad would use protection and keep the onlookers well away.

Thechook
These things are unpredictable and could explode anytime so why are they selling tickets and allowing people to stand around and gawk.

Billy Bloggs
Looks like the remnants of a burn pit to me, where E.O. is placed and allowed to cook off. Still would not have all and sundry standing around for a photo op however, just in.
sanukjim
It looks like the ammunition was buried there together and not live rounds fired from guns that did not explode therefore except for the water damage causing deterioration of the detonators would not be as dangerous. Then again BOOM
