Bangkok Bank SWIFT CODE

Even though it's not essential to the transfer, you'll likely need the bank's address as well if you're doing it online (I did one a couple days ago and it was required info, and if it wasn't inputted I couldn't go to the next step):

Kad Suan Kaew (Bangkok Bank PCL)

Suggest changes for this listing

99/4 Moo 2, Huai Kaew Rd.
T. Suthep
A. Muang
Chiang Mai 50200
Thailand

Care for yet another variation of the address?

From the Bangkok Bank branch locator:

http://www.bangkokbank.com/BangkokBank/WebServices/LocateUs/Pages/Default.aspx

G.01/2 Kad Suan Kaew Trade center

Suthep
Muang District

Chiang Mai

Thailand

50200

BUT: for the purpose if doing a transfer don't worry too much about the 100% correct address.

Correct SWIFT code and account number do identify the account without doubt.

For absolutely clarity, there's only one Swift code for Bangkok Bank as previously mentioned and your account number will do the rest.

Though do understand some websites do require an address which you can google.  This then becomes a 'D' format in Swift language.

Wow! It seems that this Kad Suan Kaew branch is very popular with Americans.

I wonder why.

This is because many Americans live around that area. Americans like to keep their money as close to them as physically possible.

I am a non-smoker

As written my information is from the Bangkok Bank website and for the OP the bits and bobs of the address aren't relevant anyway.

Looks like something from the 1980s.  Times change and the internet age is most definitely here.

Doesn't matter anyway as Swift code [BIC] and account number trump all.  Put 'Mickey Mouse' in the address field for what it's worth.

Oh sheet ES banks at Nancy's bank!

The truth is out.  E/S really lives in a shoebox studio along Huay Kaew Rd. and shuffles over to KSK every day for lunch the Tops food court,  passes the afternoon reading someone's discarded Bangkok Post  in one of the mall coffee shops and then enjoys a chat with his buddies with an early evening beer in the Blue Food Court listening to the Thai Elvis.   He's just putting on airs when he writes about his country life in beautiful Mae Rim with the weekly Sunday buffet at Four Seasons.

Surely there is a Bangkok Bank in beautiful Mae Rim.

Edit:  Yes, indeedie, the trusty Bangkok Bank website reveals that there is a Bangkok Bank office on the main drag in beautiful downtown Mae Rim, near the post office and numerous ATM machines in places popular with people of class like the Summit Green Valley Country Club and Prem International School.

Oh well..., hush up my typing fingers but maybe, just maybe ES comes all the way into town to mooch around within KSK's 'mission brown' walls per chance to catch a mere glimpse of NancyL ?

good defense ES, great to see you take it seriously, be proud for attacking an old lady

The code for Bangkok Bank is 50192 for fax wires which are faster than Swift. Cheaper too.

Way over his head!

Never tried fax wires, will check that out.
