SA KAEW: -- Sawang Foundation medics called to a lake found a man's belongings and his faithful dog waiting for its owner to come back.

But it was to prove a fruitless wait. After Wang Somboon, Sa Kaew, police were called and villagers helped out, a man was fished out of the lake, already dead.

He was named as 39 year old Surasak Wisetrat from Rayong.

There were no wounds on the body. On the bank was a back pack containing ID and a phone and the man's shoes. All being watched over by the dog.

Locals said that Surasak was hired to look after an orchard in the area and stayed there with his dog that he looked after.

They said that Surasak was a man who drank alcohol regularly and surmised that may have had something to do with his death.

His body was sent for autopsy and relatives have been informed.

Yep, the dogs always follow the ones that give them food. It´s just that simple.

He should have brought the dog along with him.(just tie up the legs of the dog ) I hope he had with him some coins  in his pocket because he need to pay the boat man to reach the other side of the world.

In Greek mythology you take a boat to cross over to the underworld and you tip the boat man. 39 is very young age, mental problems perhaps. RIP, Mr Surasak. (my sympathy)
