Can the ThaiVisa IT guy (website maintenance guy)  consider changing the placement of the icons on the upper right of the screen?

I work from my phone or from my tablet using a touch screen.  Having the menu icon in the upper right corner is a hassle.  It is difficult to tap it and I have to do it again and again.

If you moved things around and put the search icon or the view new content icon into the corner and brought the menu icon to a ore convenient place you would  have a better and more user friendy website.

Also the display window that pops up when I can tap it is quite small.

Why not make it larger?

It is 2017 and I think the majority of the website users now use touch screens.  The website seems to be designed for use with a mouse

Thank you for  your consideration.  I love the website and forums.

Hi,

I love the forums and ThaiVisa.

I think you would benefit from changing the placement order or enlarging the icons at the upper right of the page. Alternatively you could enlarge them.

I rarely work from a desk top or laptop with a mouse any more.

Always from my smart phone or a tablet.

The webpage was probably designed a while ago and the icons and their placement seem to be organized for use by a mouse.

I always have trouble tapping the menu icon.  I can tap the search icon and the current page icon easily, but I never use them.  Actually who ever uses them?

If your IT guy moved the menu icon around and switched its placement with one of the others, you would have a much better and user friendly site.

The Website Forum design was updated about 6 months or so ago.

It seems they're still working on tweaking the layout for "that ThaiVisa" look.

Website layout is mostly a function of CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), where different layouts are defined in the file to vary how the site elements and data are presented to the user, depending on the device type, layout, and screen size. This 'all in one' variable device CSS layout is usually referred to on developer boards as "Responsive".

If you want 'the Team' (actually probably 'that guy') to make a change that might benefit you and other mobile/portable device users then you'll need to tell them the type of device, screen size, resolution, orientation  ...and maybe include a screen capture directly from the device.

...also note, I have posted about site rendering issues/suggestions here previously and have been completely ignored -- Though I'm pretty sure that's more about me.

As this support forum is more of a peer-user and forum moderators (who don't control the look and feel of the site) stopping by to answer questions, you might get a better response if you email your reports and/or suggestions to support (at) thaivisa (dot) com

On my Nexus 5x, the display looks the same as on your screen. Screen size: 5.2 inches, resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels.

I believe the design is being revised and I am asking the Tech Doctor to advise if this is indeed so.
