Hello, I need to do a scan of my brain,

Is this something a medical practitioner has advised is needed?

Hospitals etc require ID --  I very much doubt anyone would agree to labeling any form of test as being "anonymous"

The one exception where ID is protected is in association with the diagnosis and treatment of STDs.

Bad idea to try to keep info from an insurance company. Your entire policy can be invalidated if they find indication you did that.

Forget your passport / ID card upon registering yourself for check-up at random hospital Mr. David Jones?

Does this actually work?

Yep, I've got a doctor back home who advised me to. The only problem is that I'm just signing up for insurance and don't want them to see that I did this scan nor it's results.

hard to find indication when there's no record of me doing so under my name.

A bad idea but your decision.

As said the hospitals in Thailand that I know of will require ID -- usually a passport in the case of a foreigner. Further I doubt any hospital will agree to anonymity  in relation to records, reports or investigations beyond their normal "patient confidentiality" standards which would mean you would have to authorise any release of your records to a third party-- there are some, mostly legal exceptions to this rule.

Do it in Thailand no one will know. If nothing wrong declare it. If you want to lie do so no one will be the wiser

I think it is Thai insurance co that he is worried about. And they can indeed find out. They won't go looking until/unless he has a claim for something large and/or something which by its nature could have been pre-existing. At that point they will check and in order to have submitted a claim he will have had to sign authorization for hospitals to release his records.

OP I have sent you a PM.
