Hi, I'm planning to visit Phuket for 3 days.

 

Could anyone recommend a bike rental near the airport area or any bike rental services that deliver the bike to airport?

I'm travelling light and have to rent a bike in patong anyway so might as well save the taxi fare too.

Probably ought to specify whether you want a scooter, a big bike or a pedal bike.

 

3 very different markets.

 

 

A lot of motorbike shops still insist on keeping the renter's passport.  It's been well documented that you should not do this, however, if the bike rental shops near the airport insist on it, how are you going to check into your hotel without a passport / visa / exemption stamp to produce, so they can register you? 

 

Of course, you may have alternate accommodation arranged, but just something for you to consider.

hi namkang, you made a good point. Don't the bike rental shop accept 3k deposit same like chiang mai bike rental shop?

 

anyway I have found minibus for 180 baht. If there isn't any scooter rental shop nearby airport I'll just take the minibus.
