Buy Cuban cigars in Seoul ICN or Swampy on arrival?

Featured Replies

I like the cigars from the Socialist Workers Paradise and need to buy a box on inbound of my July 20 one month trip to Thailand.

My impression was Seoul prices were outrageous (in comparison to PEK-Doha-Dubai). Are they just as outrageous if you purchase a box on arrival at BKK?

there is or was a decent smoke and cigar shop down in Pattaya.  Don't know how it compares to one in BKK or Seoul for that matter.

Also expensive with limited and dated inventory.

The selection outbound DF at Suvarnabumi is disappointing and also expensive. Since inbound DF choices on all items are a lot less than the outbound side, I reckon cigars would be as scarce as hens teeth.

Buy online from Hong Kong once you get here. Orders typically arrive within 4 working days. If you place the order just before you fly, they could be with you within even sooner. Just watch the weight as Thai Customs assess any duty on total weight and not the tobacco content.
