The girl looks as if she was a sweetie, a lovely young woman.  Like the South African "bladerunner", this guy probably realizes now that it would have been much better to just say "I am sorry but this is not working for me.  I am sorry that it did not work out between us. Here is x thousand Rand/baht.  Please leave while we can still be polite to each other."  So, what price Ego, Nico?   She is dead and both these men and the women concerned could have had the opportunity for better relationships for all of them.    Dear oh dear!  How absolutely sad for her and her family.

German murder suspect slits his throat as Phuket police zero in

Picha Nampadung and her German boyfriend, suspected of killing her.

 

PHUKET: -- A German man wanted on suspicion of killing a Thai woman on Phuket slit his throat when police were about to arrest him on Sunday evening, police said.

 

Nico Deutsch, who was seriously hurt, is being treated at Vajira Phuket Hospital, under police guard.

 

Police had launched a manhunt for the German after Picha Nampadung, a 35-year-old Phuket woman, who had been missing for a week, was found dead on Sunday.

 

Her decomposed body was found in a wooded area near a road to Khum Muang Chaofa Hill in tambon Wichit in Phuket’s Muang district. 

 

The body, which has deep cuts to the stomach and throat, was found wrapped in a mattress and a sack along with the woman’s doll. 

 

Police spotted Deutsch walking on Soi 8 off Saiyuan Road in tambon Rawai on Sunday evening. When he saw police, he pulled out a cutter and slit his throat.

 

Police charged him and called an ambulance to take him to the hospital.

Why do we get all this virtue signalling " condolences to the family" " such a waste of a beautiful life" etc from people who wouldn't know them if they shat in their beer?

 

if you really want to send condolences then get off your ass and do it in person not on a forum where it is highly unlikely any if the family will read it. 

 

Add to that the instant clamouring for death to the German, even though his guilt has not been proven and what do we have?

Unfortunately too many guys think their wife/GF is property like a car and no one else can drive it but them. If girl breaks up whishes to leave they go balistc take it as a person afront that she's leaving after all the've done for her spent on her. The "new" owners say he was a manager, not the owner............just kidden, don't know  a thing about him.........RIP pretty Thai lady, the box cutter belonged on the side of his neck, not the front.  He is showing remorse by trying to commit suicide, so won't get the death penalty - pbly get a dozen years then maybe pardoned in three...........just sayin.

I believe that, but point is the link is easily made then.. when a stranger is killing people the link is a lot harder. I doubt that many killings of people you know go unsolved.

Jealousy and betrayal is so common in Thailand and the end result are often tragic if can't control the out come .

RIP Khun Lek and if guilty hope the brutal murderer gets proper punishment . But why taking a life ? I really dibt understand
