Plumbers - Recommendation Asoke area?

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

If anyone has any good plumber they can recommend in the Asoke area I would be grateful for any contact details. I need to hot water system to be inspected. The pipes are old and we had a leak the other day through the bathroom condo ceiling. I can survive without hot water for a while but shaving is harder without the heat so any leads would be very much appreciated! Looked on the forum but did not find any recent posts on plumbers. Plenty in Chaing Mai!

Thank you

All I know about good plumbers is that they must have a big plumbers crack showing when they go to fix your kitchen sink or toilet. The bigger the plumbers crack the better the plumber.

Have you tried the Condo management for the building where you live.?

Thank you for the suggestion pmarlin. Yes. Tried them but it is an old condo and not one of these modern ones with hundreds of apartments. They don't really know anyone or are at least not being very helpful of they do! Hence the request here. Looks like plumbers are not used in Asoke/Sukhumvit based on the lack of replies. Good to see everyone doesn't have or never has had plumbing issues round here ;-)

Thank you Sure. That looks promising. Will check them out and report back with any decisions/progress.

I think there's a small soi between 21 and 23 where you'll find local expertise in cleaning the pipes.

I used this company about 6 months ago to unclog a shower drain that had been clogged for years. I think the company was started by a Swedish plumber. I found their details on this forum. I think it was posted around 2007. Very professional and has a lot of modern equipment. A bot pricey though because they have a minimum charge of 3500 baht. I paid 3700 baht altogether to get my drain unclothed but we'll worth it because they know what they are doing. PRAPAEXPERT. www.prapaexpert.com. tel 02 105 4545

Thank you douginbkk! Nice to see two leads here. Appreciated.

Is there a kitchen/bathroom showroom near where you live ?

I'm  sure they would know of plumbers able to help out.

Mind you we are talking Thailand here so maybe not.
