Presumably the effect on tourism would be negligible as the authorities could claim it was suicide.

Saves tourists from jumping of balconies, I suppose.

The contractors? Cause and effect. This needs Prayuth's S44 powers. 

Alternatively the good Gen' could consult with the fortune teller guy ( is that an official govt position .? ) whilst wearing his fave' phraratchathan as to the immediacy of any impending catastrophes and Facebook everyone in the area to duck .. just in the nick of time .. and a knock on bonus may be an increase in his fb likes .. ?
