Of course you need to make sure everybody sees you giving the money. Make a giant check and call the press. Look how much character I have, I'm huge!!!

My thoughts exactly.   The cheques I issue, whether for normal expenses or for charity, are for differing values but are all the same physical size and I do not invite the press for a self-promoting ceremony.  Having said that, I guess the recipient of his generosity could not care less and she is grateful for the cash whatever his motives.

Sorry, but I have a different outlook......... I think this publicity had a reason that you haven't considered.......

For one..... It didn't just let the tight-wad and his couple bags of candy just pass by 'quietly'..... His stinginess is well publicized now.....

Also with the 'publicity' so many more people are seeing a 'good example'..... for a change..... and that is of great value..... IMHO

He is Thai full stop!

Wait a minute....... Thai's are kind and generous, although most are poor and can't show it.....

It is the "Thai-Chinese" who fit the description of this 'CHEEPO' doctor ( will also include some of the richer Hi-So Thais with no Chinese blood.
