Government hospital, Sertraline 50mg, 60 day supply. Along with Lorazapam 2mg, 60 days supply cost me 300 Baht, plus 50 Baht for the doc on Monday.

Hopefully the OP now has his meds?

Thank you so much for the info Rally! 60 day supply is that 30 tabs? Also, what do you need to buy them from a government hospital?

For me a 60 day supply was 60 tablets of 50 mg. I take one a day first thing in morning. To buy them you have to register at your local government psychiatric hospital. You see a doctor and he/she will access you as to your needs.

What if i have a prescription from another country?

You still need to register and see a doctor. As far as I know your prescription is worthless.

Sertraline does not require a prescription in Thailand. You can buy it at a pharmacy. That said, if you are starting on it newly it is not a good idea to self-prescribe and you would do better to initiate it under medical supervision.

The locally made generic brands (Sertraline GPO, Serlin 50, Serlift, Sertra,  Sisalon, Starin, Selrotine)  are inexpensive though I can't give yo uan exact price.

May be not, but if you want it at half the price of a pharmacy then a government hospital is the place to get it. You have to see a trick cyclist first. You pays yer money..................
