Overland travellers on motorcycle.

Featured Replies

The new regulations affecting overland travellers is really a pain in the ass.

Many overland travellers on motorcycle dont want to visit Thailand anymore.

It is to difficult and expensive to make a permission to drive with your own motorcycle in Thailand.

Many people, who drive all the way from Europe og America, and want to make a long holyday in Thailand, with there own motorcycle, is only allowed to have the Motorcycle with them 30 days in one year. Even  if they have 1 year visa. And it is mandatory for the visitors expensive, to have a guide together following in his own car every day.

This is regulations we know from China, North Korea and before in Russia. But this contry dont want to have tourist.

What happend for Thailand, The Land of Smile with great traditions for International motorcycle events?

Because of this new regulation Thailand will lose face and money.

Please change the regulations back to the old easy regulations., where we make the tempory import permission at the border in 5 minute without any fee, and following the visa.

Then we can smile again, in The Land of Smile.
