62-year-old man jumps off Bangkok Noi bridge after argument with wife

BANGKOK: -- Police scuba divers searched the Bangkok Noi canal on Thursday after a man jumped off a bridge into the waters after an argument with his wife.

 

The man's wife told police that her husband, Athiwat Saithirachote, 62, who had construction and steel trading business, quarreled with her while they were driving. She said he parked the car on the bridge and came out to continue the quarrel before suddenly jumping off the bridge at 1pm.

 

Police said the wife initially tried to jump into the canal but she was restrained by passers-by.

 

Scuba divers searched the canal until dusk but they failed to locate the man and the search was suspended.

But hope this guy is found alive and well.

We all know that having an argument with the opposite (I was gonna say, fairer, but changed my mind) sex is a lose lose scenario but jumping off a bridge................ Nah 

Well I guess this husband got to the end of his tolerance, of nagging wife and decided

a swim was better than another minute of losing yet another argument.

Silly sod, yes we all know what it can be like  arguing with a woman, but hey that was a bit drastic.

Yep, women's logic very hard to understand at times, throw Thai women's logic in the mix, then you

have no chance!
