Lumpini Park Large Tent Frames

Featured Replies

Today as I was on my morning walk in the park, at the main entrance near Silom and Rama 4, they erected some very large what I would guess are some tent frames. I looked online to see if I could find out what they are for but no luck. Does anyone know what they are for, I would like to know. I know there is some kind of running even this coming weekend but for these type events I have never seen tents this size. I thought maybe it is some kind of large Mother's Day Event planned. If anyone knows or can find out I would appreciate knowing. Thanks in Advance.

OK, I was able to talk with a Thai man this morning on my daily walk through Lumpini Park and he told me that it is a exhibition promoting the high quality agriculture products though out the country and will be represented by most of the Providences showing and some also selling their individual products. I believe that it is mostly geared towards the organic type products and the exporting of them. He also thought that it opens tomorrow and that there will speech by the Prime Minister at the opening. He was not sure when the closing date will be. I again looked on the web with this additional information but did not see anything there. It looks pretty impressive and might be worth checking out if you have a chance, at least I will plan to. If anyone does find any more information or a website please share, thanks.

I thought it was ment for hosting the Yingluck supporters on aug 25
