Game of Thrones’ Jaime Lannister coming to Bangkok’s Global Goals World Cup

BANGKOK: -- Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, better known as Jaime Lannister from HBO series Game of Thrones, will make an appearance at the Global Goals World Cup, a female football competition held in Bangkok on Sept. 30.

 

Coster-Waldau, a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, will be an honorary judge in the football games at NIST International School, Sukhumvit Soi 15, according to the information on the school’s website.

 

In case you’re interested, the Global Goals World Cup was initiated by United Development Programme (UNDP) to raise awareness of issues such as “poverty, inequality, and climate change.” You get the picture.
