  1. It's amazing all the Tax accountants that can predict the future tax rules for foreigners. Meanwhile the Thai government changes it's mind every week or so. Ganja ...... legal or not. VISA ....... 30 days, 60 days, 180 days 10k wallet ........ maybe MFP ban or keep
  2. Food items at the schools food stalls are priced at 5bht, 10bht, 20bht. 33bht would get him a meal, a snack and a drink.
  3. My boy is the same age (nearly 13) in Chiang Mai. We give him 100bht every morning before school, that covers his food, drinks and snacks. (no school = no pocket money)
  4. I found the 7l per 1kg a little strong for me. I've finished up using 620gm of water in a jug and pouring in 70-80gm of milk powder (easy to measure on the kitchen scales). Stir for 30s, then it's done. That's just under 9l for 225bht = 25bht/ltr.
  5. I bought a Mr. Power 5k5 hybrid inverter (with wifi) for 13kbht 2-3 years back. The wifi interface isn't that smart or that pretty, but it works as well. It's suffered through being shorted out, and a few different power outrages, but keeps on working (after a reset). Can't see the reason for spending big money on an inverter when the cheap ones work just as well. As for batteries ...... who can predict the future?
  6. It's not as if she was chosen as a candidate for any other reason.
  7. Available from YoK in ChiangMai, along with many seller on Lazada. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/dairy-rich-1-i4211165437-s16584732708.html PS. I agree with you, this is the only powdered milk I will use.
  8. Again opinion, not fact.
  9. Yes, it's odd ........ they profess to want a black president but don't offer up any black candidates.
  10. No, I'm questioning why the non-white stabber of children isn't fast tracked as well. It's not as if they need to gather evidence of his crimes.
  11. I drink Dairy Rich (re-hydrated from powder) milk every day. Can't tell the difference between it and the various milks (including Meiji) on sale in Thailand.
  12. Maybe because she was allegedly raised mostly by her Indian mother. If dad's not around, he won't be passing on much of his culture.
  13. It's an opinion, not a fact.
  14. I see dairy cows everywhere I cycle near MaeJo, no big herds though mainly small numbers. In a morning ride, I must pass around a hundred.
  15. I drink 'Dairy Rich' straight and it tastes fine. Not found any other powdered milk that tastes OK though.
  16. Meanwhile the Labour PM wants the white rioters 'fast tracked' in the courts while the stabbers court date is set for 20 Jan 2025. I also see the papers are pushing a school photo of Axel looking about 12, clearly taken many years ago. Still no mention of his religion.
  17. What damages the world is largely a matter of opinion.
  18. And my AIS costs 1,800bht a year for nearly the same thing. (100GB data, unlimited talk time limited to 30 minute chunks)
  19. Best not to discuss such matters in person, that's what anonymous forums are for.
  20. I paid 45 years of NI until I claimed my state pension. All my UK income is taxed, no choice as it's deducted at source.
  21. I always got us both HIV tested before moving one in.
  22. That's true, but back in 2009 when I arrived it was so cheap it seemed a waste to go home alone. Now I'm too old and too settled with the one I rented for the past 15 years. I'm betting most expats arrived in the 'cheap' era that appeared to finish around 2014.
  23. Nah, as a Brit we're way ahead of you, we've already had an Indian pm, and a white labour leader that was a serial Mexican wife importer. I think we'll probably beat you as first to have a Muslim pm as well. But personally I'd like a few more tranny's standing.
