  1. I'm not so sure. If the OP obtained his non O at certain office then my understanding is that for his first extension it would need to be done at that office (Trang) A TM30 (change of office) won't cut it Of course after initial extension he can move to another province and do TM30 and do subsequent extensions.
  2. CW requires mail reporting 15 days prior to due date. The issue with CW is currently you are waiting multiple days (up to 15) days pending. At that point too late for mail option
  3. It can happen however can't recall an report of issue.. At worst it would be 2k baht fine and trip to Hua Hin or CW not worth it. Bit late but OP could have done report via mail. Understandable having lot on his plate.
  4. Skip the 90 day report. It is not checked at airport.
  5. Well perhaps rogue Jomitien office has been "advised" to fall in line. TM47 reports have clear requirements at most offices. The list you posted is hardly a ... "big inconvenience"
  6. Every immigration has their own take on requirements. I needed to do my last 2 reports in person at CW. Online stopped working for me at CW. I certainly did not just "hand over my pp" and that's all. On your list the TM30 , that was not required.
  7. You mean the TM30?..... Yes silly added requirement.
  8. Reentry permit office is after security and before immigration control. Zone 2
  9. No limit on number of visa exempt entries via air. However depends on history of stays in Thailand, especially if back to back very little time spent out of Thailand.
  10. The extension is 30 days and it's added to your existing expiry date. You most likely require a TM30. Ask hotel to provide screenshot of it.. Short stay is fine
  11. Agree. I obtained 12 month extension Oct 4 using 800k+ in bank all year round for many years I will now start 65k+ monthly transfers and also maintain the 800k until my next extension. At that point with 12 months of transfers I can use that ongoing method ongoing. If there is a snag I can fall back on money in bank method. (Oz pp no embassy letter available)
  12. I don't really follow the logic. When I previously had travelled to Thailand (my early years) I entered with aud $ (not small amounts. I then would exchange at SuperRich green into Thai baht and deposit into my Thai bank account. Subsequently use WISE (popular with USA and many others) To transfer funds out of Thailand is not so simple. DEE Money is able to do this. For large amounts it requires additional information. Not long ago I purchased a condo from a UK guy. After I paid him (cash) he required proof of sale of the condo for DEE to facilitate the transfer back to his UK bank. OP, to me your plan sounds fishy or at best unusual. Money laundering?
  13. You could talk with agent such as Maneerat Soi 13/2. If the bank account is required as first step to a non O.,,..be aware of difficulties with that in Jomtien.
  14. So naive. It is complicated. Then you state above get advice from mates re agent. If you had stated location you may have received good advice. For example if in Pattaya folks would have suggested various agents. Same goes for other provinces.
  15. It is 100% relevant. If you post your location you will receive accurate advice. For example in Bangkok you will not be able to open bank account from tourist visa or visa exempt entry. What's the big secret providing location.. Almost certainly you will need an agent.
  16. The point is many guys use a ME non O marriage. If ongoing want to do turn around same day via air that imo is foolish. If you want to park backside in Thailand without need to exit then obtain non O based on marriage with annual extensions. The financial requirements are very minimal.
  17. Always find these similar threads interesting. Guess folk have their reasons but why not make it a short holiday. Surely can't be about missing the wife for few nights.
  18. That is correct however the OP would have prepared the photo page of his pp as part of his application Just upload same for this. It's not about residency. It's about having citizenship or having permanent residency status in country where someone is applying.
  19. You can change in November. However just to cover any nonsense from immigration keep doing the monthly transfers until your Nov extension stamp is in the pp
  20. You mention $16 which is on the website for "onward ticket " you do not need to make the booking 24hr prior. In any event if you are issued a Visa...I very much doubt airline will have issue giving you a boarding pass. Visa exempt different situation..
  21. You have it covered. Just make sure that your monthly transfers are shown to from abroad.. Your bank will know what you require.
