  1. Stick to what OP asks rather than comments regarding legality of agents assisted non O and subsequent extension. Very boring.
  2. Have taken both. Last visit in Feb I took the #152. I take whichever is leaving next. "Cheaper" ...that's funny.
  3. Rule of thumb is flown back to place of departure. You may be able to push for flown back to passport country. ie Finland. I suggested Saigon as district 1 (tourist area) is a great place and the 109 direct bus to that area is 1usd and shortish drive compared to KL airport to city center. Edit: just checked. Finnish citizens have 15 day visa exempt entry to Vietnam. Also can obtain e-Visa for longer stays. Not my business but surprised you haven't explored places in Asia other than couple of days out of Thailand.
  4. Ok. Depending on your location currently in Thailand you could consider best country to fly to and return. I would at very least have a plan B if refused entry on arrival you will be flown back to point of departure. I'm assuming Finnish citizens have visa exempt entry to countries such as Vietnam. There are flights from Saigon to CNX
  5. Personally think you have been lucky. At a guess perhaps border runs to Malaysia. A 5th visa exempt very problematic. You just state now 2 visa exempt via land last year and two this year. That's 4. How did you first enter Thailand. You presumably arrived via air from somewhere. What is total time spent in Thailand.
  6. You should have been clear in your OP So 4 visa exempt entries with extensions back to back and now going for a fifth. Haven't bothered with a tourist visa. You should have obtained a METV at the start. CNX is always suggested as a soft entry. Can't imagine how any io would allow you to enter again visa exempt with couple of days out of Thailand. Try a couple of weeks/months out. If you have only used one visa exempt via land for this calendar year then try border bounce. Definitely not entry via air
  7. Yes. Remember to change your entry date when you autofill.
  8. I'm guessing because OP asked about Vientiane.
  9. Seems that the school is your agent. There are couple of different tier level of schools for studing Thai language. There is specific forum for that. Not directly answers your question however this thread explains informal schools and has few posts from ubonjoe. https://aseannow.com/topic/1248267-price-for-an-ed-visa/
  10. Since the OP left after starting thread ...what do you mean by "The school is genuine" OP have read of this thread for added info. https://aseannow.com/topic/1283492-will-i-be-denied-re-entry-due-to-volunteer-visa-in-passport/
  11. What do you mean by "legitimate language school" ?
  12. There should have been an issue as you should have either done a TM30 (change of address) to enable you to file 90 day reports at Phuket or done them with CW. Doing annual extensions at CW then that is where you file your 90 reports. In the situation of living mainly in Phuket that's not an issue as you can use online or mail.
  13. Means agents takes passport to border and does border bounce without you. Was does MANY years ago. Illegal.
  14. Ridiculous. She was either not there or perhaps a stoner in the typical mute state of awareness.
  15. I cannot advise but since you did not get one reply ...just pumping your thread. Thinking for a renewal it should be very simple. BTW: my Thai partner just did this for herself and the turnaround was 2 days. Unbelievable. Think you may have had more advice in "Thai Visa Forum.." @BritTim
  16. Is it even possible the mother would not have noticed anything over a 4 year period. Horrible situation for the child.
  17. Out of interest what has been the take up # of LTR. Read many posts almost bragging about wealth level to along lines ... I have LTR. Congratulations. What are the total LTR issued so far. Only a guess but thinking SFA. PE (elite visa) stats are available. Assume LTR also.
  18. Seems that he did not exit Thailand. You have.
  19. No problem. Would be perhaps different reply if you left without cancelling a work permit. You were studying not working. Correct?
  20. Thought that was for the folk that had been using ME non O one year visa and unable to obtain one due to closed borders and needed to obtain 12 month extension.
  21. OP, so seems you are currently using money in bank method. I previously thought that starting 65k transfers 2 months prior to new extension and also maintaining the 800k for those 2 months would be sufficient. In this attached....I posted that idea. Ubonjoe had different take on it and I suggest that you read his posts in this thread.
  22. Just now added link to thread that discusses the 3 month non rule
  23. Yes. Even if Jomtien advise you to return in 3 months for bank book check you can ignore that. Several threads have discussed this. Here is one. https://aseannow.com/topic/1277644-90-day-show-money-orders-at-jomtien-with-bank-method-retirement-extensions-are-up-to-you/
  24. Yes. I should have made it more clear. I was posting about application for a NON O Visa at Jomtien immigration. NOT for extensions..
