I wasn't aware of that but I do know she won't do it the other way round, ie sell you glasses based on a presciption obtained elsewhere. She insists on doing the eye test as presumably it gives her the opportunity to pick up any other issues you should be aware of.

I'll second this one. A Philippine lady called Maria.

You can book on-line in advance for an extra 10 baht to ensure you get on the one you want. https://rrcticket.com/customer/Webhome

I've had mates use the 35 Group mentioned above with no problems but I think this is the website for the one you've seen. https://www.swbbustour.com/

Two hits quickly disussing what I think the OP is referring to. https://positivemoney.org/2024/02/how-the-government-is-spying-on-our-bank-accounts/ https://www.bigissue.com/news/social-justice/dwp-bank-accounts-digital-bill-house-of-lords/ -

There was an article mentioned in many places recently, perhaps even on here too, that focussed on the point in a bill currently going through Parliament which gives the government the right to snoop on bank accounts as described in the OP. I'll have a look for it but if you can use Google you should be able to find it for yourself. -
I suggest you need to get out more.

I just read the BBC News article about 10 minutes ago and when I saw the thread title I thought it could very easily be about this, so 100% agree with the OP.

Which of these apps have you used for TAXI ?
treetops replied to Startmeup's topic in General Topics
I didn't put up that pic. The one I put up before showed the price of a Bolt trip from central Pattaya to central Bangkok at just over 1,000 baht, which is more than reasonable considering you youself mentioned a "normal taxi" is 1,400 baht. -
How to select plane seats with Qatar

There may be 2 PNRs associated with the booking so they may need to contact BA to get the QR one. -

You're loss as there are many, many more satisfied customers than the single report you appear to be making your decision on - odd to say the least but maybe not unexpected. You should be able to a dummy booking by inputting an origin and destination in areas where Bolt operates. -
How to select plane seats with Qatar
treetops replied to justsignedin's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
Qatar's website should first be looking for a PNR (and surname) under "Manage Booking". The PNR will be a 6 character alphanumeric code and should be on their confirmation from Trailfinders, or available from them. -

The pic is from the app at the time of posting and Bolt's price was as shown. Not sure where you got the 1,500 to 1,700 baht from. Do a dummy booking and you'll see a price from Bolt. -

Agreed they're not venting anything out but they can be cleaning the air passing through them. Not sure how effective but the option on my one is described thus in the manual:
