While the girls offering such services are married themselves too and have 2-3 children with 2-3 fathers. But let's blame all guys on a minority of farang sexpats / sex tourists.

Depends where you fly, many south / island destinations can require.

Oh please, a 3% recovery and you want to claim the reopening has been a success? Yeah there are some people left and right, so some businesses reopen, a tiny fraction of what it used to be as well most their revenues (aside of debts from 1.5 year needing to be paid back). The only reason there is a tiny bit of action at immigration now is because many are still here on the covid extensions etc. That actually means they are not even part of the reopening but people who already were here all the time. It's like going to drink in soi 7, bkk now and claim it is very busy, ignoring the fact that all other main areas are still ghost streets and plaza's.

What do you think is a fair beer price in a bar?
ChaiyaTH replied to FruitPudding's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The going rates for a normal bar (meaning no KTV or gogo) should be around 110-140 baht for a mix drink, beers therefor should be starting from 80 baht. In higher end places this can easily be 50-100% more but you pay for the decency, quality and special atmosphere. Many places now I noticed introduced quite a nice pricing model similar to Pattaya, for example in the soi 7 of sukhumvit. Others, who wish to ruin there entire soi like the corner bar on soi 22 sukhumvit, dare to ask 200 baht for a mixer with half a shot of booze. The average nice place with girls charges me 100-120 and 150 for the girls, 50 for the girl. -
Noticed a lot of non mask wearing people in CM last week but all of them were recent arrived tourists as well. The expats all wear them as far I seen. My best guess is that this behavior comes from the islands, they then think they can behave the same elsewhere too. Some logic in it tho, why wear a mask if walking on quiet streets by yourself or with the friends you arrived with. There is more open air and space than in a coffeeshop or restaurant.

Potatoes for fries / chips in Thailand
ChaiyaTH replied to Kenny202's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Also depends a lot on the oil and freshness of oil in how they come out though, very clean oil usually keeps them quite white and it turns more yellow after, then orange at worst. Anyway, they even sell fried fries by bags in Big C nowadays so why bother making them. There is a lot choice nowadays. -
It says one glass of red wine a day, together with a very balanced diet and good exercise would get rid of your stomach. Aside of that you obviously just have to do loads of situps and the like. Anyway, anyone drinking 2 or more glasses alcohol daily is considered an alcoholic officially.

blacklisted for 12 months while on elite visa.
ChaiyaTH replied to 3421abc's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It has been very clear since years that any overstay of more than 90 days results in a 1 year blacklist. -

Talking about a travel passport issue while she is native and domestic, 2 months remaining for a 1 day job / 1 week wait. Talking about taxes, you should be paying them late! Then overstaying 1 day VS 12 months straight and being blacklisted. You do not overstay a visa, by accident, with over 90 days without just being sloppy. Then you just own the situation, I have been out for 12 months myself too some years ago. -
blacklisted for 12 months while on elite visa.
ChaiyaTH replied to 3421abc's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Let's spend 1M baht on a Elite visa and not read the basic terms and conditions of the visa itself at all. If he wanted to fix the situation, it had to be before he left, now it is done already. --- The next problem he has, is that it seems one can't obtain a new elite visa if ever blacklisted before. -
Just look at the evil western planning and events and one can fear what is coming to here. Im afraid every last bit of business is gonna be wacked on the next lockdown here, wether that be in 1 or 5 months from now…. I feel sorry for all my Thai tourism biz friends and workers, they look traumatized and starved already and this could dim the light at the end of the tunnel. They have nothing to even buy tooth paste let alone food. Helping a dozen but there is thousands of them by now. Homeless everywhere too, druggies, crime rise etc. I wonder if we will get shot gun guards at banks here too in the future.

Move to Thailand permanently with 20M baht.
ChaiyaTH replied to MrAscii's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Thailand is way cheaper than Indonesia. Living off 20M baht and asking wether that is possible must be the best joke, I did it with 1M. Most western people start or retire with a fraction of that amount. I guess its true that most rich people are not thé brightest. A fool and his money part soon enough, to ask this tells your future. -
Pattaya to get huge new beachside development
ChaiyaTH replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Pattaya News
Those fish in the picture are poo poo in reality. Sewer city beach. -
Greatest film of our lives is how covid is abused for power control, taking even more welfare to the elite and destroying livelihoods. The next lockdown is gonna kill all local businesses left. Yeah laugh and despise my comment, just as i was laughed at when i said boosters will be mandatory and certificates expiring, as well new outbreaks taking place; this is today’s news and reality. Winter is coming, has come already.

Heading back to Australia where do l get my vaccine passport?
ChaiyaTH replied to Bruce1054's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
You can order it from the vaccine certificate app -
I have my entire body red dotted like psoriasis right now, but it has been almost a month since my second shot which was AZ. No allergies, no other special things happened. I have had multiple (minor) health issues aside of having been very sick from it since vaccinating. While my history is to never have anything + only a bad flu once every 4-5 years... I also hear this more and more over time from other people now, so it does not even seem to be that rare, it actually seems they keep it out of the news because it is more important tot reach 100% vaccinated. I won't take a single additional shot, ever, again.

Non-o child visa until his son is like 20 years old is the best option, not sure wether you still need the mother for that once the child is at the age 7-8 years old but I guess Ubonjoe will know that part. Via agent you can get it done for sure with just a copy of the mother ID card / housebook.

Seems you met a Thai ghost, go to the temple and tell the monk, you feel better after even if not believing in it.
