  1. Damn Global Warming ... ... definitely chillier than I remember in the past
  2. FFS, just ask her out. Ask her what her favorite restaurant is, then ask her to go there, show you where it is, on her next day off. That puts her in a familiar safe environment, so she'll be comfy and relaxed. Her name should be hanging on a diploma / certificate somewhere in the shop. If you see it, ask her how to pronounce it. Pay attention to details
  3. Most are 5 yrs now, so covers 50k-75k kms from most local folks driving. Oil changes about every 10k with most manufacturers, and aside from that, most cars don't really need much, fluid levels, tires & brakes, depending on driving habits. Maybe a couple batteries. I wouldn't buy anything more than 5 yrs old, and here, I never kept anything over 7 yrs old, (125k-150k kms) and those were bought new.
  4. Unless wanting to pay silly price, and sill not knowing what the 'specialty' shops, bakers put in their bread, then just make at home. Really is too easy, and one of the easiest things to bake. No need for a machine, but without, need to be around for about 2 hours, start to finish. 15-20 mins to mix, 30 min rest, another 30 min rest, then about 30 mins in oven. Last loaf I made, yesterday, was 250g whole wheat & 250g bread flour, water, salt, yeast, and I did put 10g sugar in, when doing a 50/50 split on flour. So not so dense, and the sugar is probably gone anyway, by the time it goes in the oven. Makes for an 825-850g loaf (350 water), healthier than store bought & tasty. 5. When someone tells you ... 'it's THEIR culture' ... rest assured, chances are they are going to benefit from that culture, and it's going to cost you money. Curious, what's the Thai culture, when a Thai male marries a non Thai female ... sin sot ???
  6. Suzuki might not be far behind ...
  7. "Squirrel fight" .. 2 nuts fighting over who gets to play with the nuts
  8. Is this a holiday for him, or ... ... leave USA since Trump is PE, or ... avoiding limelight of Diddy investigations I read more than a few celebs have been MIA, maybe seeking out countries with no extradition treaties Just me thinking out loud, as not stating that is what they are doing and why MIA.
  9. And yet, the dealers are full of folks maintaining their vehicles. Maintenance require to keep warranty intact.
  10. Not up on my DEI slang, and not wanting to offend any alphabet folks ... ... since 2 dudes fighting, is this a 'dog fight' or a 'cat fight', since both are in drag. Maybe a 'dragon fight'
  11. Actually bootlegged or watered down, even swapped out with something else. Whiskey is something I wouldn't order in a bar in TH, or the USA, as some do the same there. Crown and Jameson has too much of a distinct taste for a regular drinker not to notice. Haven't a clue of other whiskeys or spirits, and never got into them. Only in mixed drinks.
  12. I got plenty of headroom in our MG ZS, although the seat is all the way back, so leg room might not be enough for you. I sit fairly straight up, especially compared to the wife's seating position. I'm 177 cm, and leg room is just enough for me. Don't know about sporty though, but definitely fun. I wouldn't drive the ICE version like I drive the BEV version, as a bit top heavy. The battery really makes it more stable when playing. BEVs are hard to topple over because of the low, heavy, center of gravity. Definitely fun, but still only 8+ secs to 100 kph. I usually only drive in 'ECO' mode, 'normal' and especially 'Sport' mode is definitely noticeably faster. Really to fast for around town, and I really don't need to get to highway speed that fast anyway. Without trying, I notice I pull away from everyone at traffic lights, though since I do the speed limit on highways, they eventually pass me Roomy for a family, even though a small SUV. No kid now, but we take the whole house with us when O&A 🙄
  13. Why tariffs are good for the 'local' auto industry, but not the consumer. Same with the USA, nothing but overpriced under performers available, with few exceptions, if any.
  14. If never had, give a try if available, as it is pretty tasty. And I'm not a whiskey drinker (neat or on the rocks), and about the only one I'll do shots of. Like Jameson also, and discovered that while making my own Bailey's in TH.
  15. Used to be one at Preecha Market. Gmap not showing but has a few more listed. Might be worth taking a peek at the listings, if haven't already.
  16. Cheese, nuts, CheeseCake, chocolate, and latter 2, homemade. I stay clear of store bought, processed junk food. If it's got a label, or a label with more than a couple ingredients, I don't bother putting it in my body ... usually
  17. Me neither, as looking at past numbers, I really don't think I needed the statin that was prescribed to me. Ignorance is Bliss ... for big pharma. The HDL/TG ratio was easily controlled with just diet, actually better without the statin. Docs love treating symptoms, no causes. Sad that they are so ignorant, or just follow big pharma protocol. High BP = Statin script ... F'g sad, when YT gives better medical advice
  18. You body needs fat, though most could do with a little less saturated fat. Why if not wanting flavor of the oil (EVOO, Coconut or Sesame) we use Canola.
  19. Same in 2016, when had clinton winning right up to the end, when she lost om a landslide of EC votes. Why MSM and polls are a joke
  20. @NoshowJones Was there yesterday and noticed these, along with another 'variety' pack w/Cumberlands in it.
  21. Another women's sports league allowing men to play .. mind boggling. What's the point of even having a 'women's' sports league
  22. Again, has nothing to do with USA, and not acting in any diplomatic capacity for the USA. He's always been a believer in free speech, and why he bought X / twitter. I think it was a post on X where he made the statements. Guess it gives you and the other posters a chance to USA bash, and don't know why, since he didn't even mention USA. He is Canadian & S. African also, but no comments about those countries & free speech or expression of thoughts. Since you guys bring it up, USA is far better allowing free speech & expression. Not as much as in the past though, but that's in the PC, woke world, not legality, like the UK. 1st Amendment ensures that right, and fairly obvious, considering what MSM spews all the time.
  23. Shame some folks still fall for the same BS, especially foreigners marrying a working gal/guy, or another non working gal/guy, who been married already, and or has kid (s). No Thai would pay a sin sot in that case. It's a dying tradition, as is the institution of marriage itself. Why do the local do the village ceremony, and many avoid legal registration ? Been married 2X here, and the subject was never even brought up. And the gals were from the village. Nor with any of the gals I dated. File sin sot with all the other silliness .. Thai culture ... ... only wear long pants & collared shirt ... never out without a shirt on Or silly superstitions they don't believe in themselves that I've heard .. ... don't take photos of kids, as they lose years of life ... If child isn't talking at young age, rub their mouth with a frog, OK, that one is probably true Didn't you hear, Christians are all virgins before getting married ... white dress, so it must be so
