What to do when you have more money than sense?
KhunLA replied to BarBoy's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
To the title ... if you don't need or want anything, like me, then I'm leaving it for the wife & kid. Thankfully I have plenty of both. -
We use about 2% or 1 kWh, per hour, w/ MG ZS, at idle, full power, AC on, high fan.

Just now watched a vid, detailing advantages of cutting sugar out of your diet. Decent and most folks should watch, and I can attest to everything he states. If you can get pass 2 weeks, and stay Keto-ish, then you got it beat, with a little will power. It really is amazing how addicting & habit forming sugar is. HAPPY HEALTH

Trump certainly can't do any worst than the previous 9 idiots, in my lifetime, who got the USA in the state that it is now. Besides, he'll only be there for 4 years. Didn't cause the 'end of days' with his last administration, so I think the USA & world is safe for the next 4 years, if Biden's puppeteers don't implode things before Jan 20th

Phuket rolls out electric buses in bold push for greener island
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I care about me & mine's health, not the planet. The planet will heal itself once we are gone, as it has done in the past. Cure your ignorance ... little if any comes from Africa -
When doesn't matter, as I'm usually awake in <6 hrs after I fall asleep. Usually some time around midnight, to before sunrise. 0500 this morning, myself & dog up for a P, then coffee. Check BP before coffee, make sure I'm still alive and not in the other universe

Along with all the non LFP batteries you use everyday in your devices & appliances. A far more non eco friendly product, especially if not rechargeable. Hypocrisy - the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform. -
Road Leading to Betong Bus Terminal collapses

Sinkhole vs poor construction ... shh -
Use to be a few roadside-ish hut vendors on Srisook & Srichomcheum rds. Road in front of and behind the prison. Also cruise along Wathananuwong rd & Adulyadej rd. Of course there was a barber / hair salon (pricy) at Central Plaza, in the corner, 2nd floor, away from where AEON ATM is / was, at the top of the escalator on the back side. If that doesn't ring a bill, just ask at 'information'.

What’s Better: Cisgender or Transgender Thai Women?
KhunLA replied to 123Stodg's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub

Since the kid asked me if Santa was real, about 20 yrs ago, (she really screwed herself) ... I don't even notice Xmas till almost he day of, and I might play some music. Though I don't listen to music much any more, if at all. Don't see the point without kids in the house, especially being an Athirst. Just another day for us.

Roojai ins, 2022 MG ZS 'D' model, ~14k, renewed and didn't get 'no claim' discount, since we had an oops. Think ins was 9,400 the first time. What I pay for our MG ZS for the past 2 years (35,000 km) - Maintenance: three (10k, 20k, 30k kms) check ups ??? - Electricity: have solar, so mostly pay for CS when O&A - Insurance: 10,400 ? & 14,000 - Road Tax: 1000 & 1500 ? Baht (1250/year) Avg cost per year: too lazy to bother

Gmaps isn't even close to current. Charge Loma & PlugShare are a wee bit better, but you really do need to have the vendor's apps for finding anything off the beaten track. Here's a ballpark idea, from Charge Loma app, and extremely incomplete, as I filter out the slow chargers, and show only the 4 vendors we actually use ...

Not sure about that, as I get around a wee bit ... Barkin' up the wrong tree there bud, as covered half of the NE, most of Central, most of the N, and most of the S since having our BEV.

Yep ... and proud to be helping the CCP to keep producing better products at better prices. It's called a free market. Compete or get absorbed by the competition. Since owning, I want the CCP BEV makers to be around for a long time. Doubt it, but ours may need servicing before myself, wife and daughter crap out. Ask me at 500k-1M kms in the future, although at our driving lifestyle, we'll be lucky to have 350k kms on it in 20 years. About 1/3 of the conservative kms of the battery pack will last, that will still have about 70% (32kWh) capacity left, to be repurposed to the solar system. Along with saving about 800k THB over 20 yrs by not buying petrol, if all local driving, and energy supplied by solar. Hmm, about the price of a new car now, and a nice one. Sounds like a Buy 1 / Get 1 deal to me, along with free ESS for solar system

People that state there's not enough CS in rural areas apparently don't get out much, or notice much when they are. We've never had a problem, and never a major inconvenience to top up. Especially if you compare, add the time it takes to top up one's ICEV all the other times when staying local.
